AND THEY FLEW

I wrote this piece for my friend Winifred. It's inspired by a poem by Christopher Logue which she has pinned to the wall of her studio -

Come to the edge!
It's too high.
Come to he edge!
We might fall.
Come to the edge.
And they came.
And he pushed them.
And they flew.
